Something completely different but...
« on: 06 April 2007, 23:58:36 »

Has anyone any idea what its like changing the engine on a 2.5 diesel Vauxhall Movano?. I feel the need for a van sometimes, and there's one on fleabay for 300quid with a knocking engine. There appear to be several 2.5 diesel movano's in the scrapyard, so if I could pick up an engine cheap, then the bits are there, but if it needs the van to be dismantled first with a hoist/pit then no. I can get access to a reasonable hoist, and have ramps, anything special needed?

Sorry, don't know, but wouldn't surprise me if the engine comes up from underneath...

It's a rebadged Renault Master IIRC.
