CAR400 question
« on: 27 July 2009, 18:22:56 »

Hi,

And now I have a CAR400 question. My S reg Omega CD has a CAR400 fitted and all appears to be working except for the automatic RDS time setting - this is despite following the instructions in the manual.

Has anyone seen this problem before and is it likely to be the radio or a problem with the car?

I've just thought that I might swap the radio in my other Omega and see where the problem goes.

Comments welcome.

Regards ............ Robert

You have the little clock next to the numerical time? You have to have to be listening to an RDS station eg Radio 1/2 etc

As said, it can take a while to update, and the speed of the update will depend on which station listening to.

BBC/National stations faster than local ones.
