I can’t stand adverts and those are among the worse in my opinion.

The only one I like is the Cadbury drumming Gorilla, adverts are a pain in the arse.

As you're still talking about them, they have successfully done their job.

Years later, just mentioning an advert makes you remember the product. That's exactly what it was designed to do. The intention is that when you're standing in front of a shelf of whatevers, you'll be influenced enough to buy theirs.

It doesn't always work that way, because some people are so irritated by adverts they'll deliberately not buy that product. Effective advertising companies spend a lot of time and money identifying such people. It's the real reason for Google's existence, and is why organisations like Twitter are worth so much money when their visible products are so banal.

Cadburys Flake
Nescafe
Black Magic

These were some of the old favourite adverts  a few years ago.

The Lynx adverts were good

Apparently the creator of them went on to win quite a few awards :y

The one that amuses me at the moment is the one where there's a ring at the door and the house is in shit state. The rush to clean up is very funny but, guess what? I can't remember what the ad is for  ;D

About 70% of people in the adverts don't have white skin. Every white man or woman must have a black partner. It's the law. ::) ::)

When the adverts start the mute button is deployed.
