Omega General Help / Help please b4 it goes dark! radiator flush
« on: 09 March 2007, 17:59:06 »
i want to drain my radiator and add some new coolant I have bought. There are plastic shrouds everywhere, and fading light (i have to get it done today)....where is the drain plug?

is it simply a case of removing the top off the pressure bottle, then unscrewing the drain plug....letting it all run out, then fill back up with new coolant?

thanks to anyone as sad as me to be in on a friday night..and wanting to change coolant!

no budget fuels for my omega!

my 3.0 elite gets 17 to 18 locally..lots of hills, short journeys....on a run, it can really rise....it loves motorway journeys, with cruise control, and gets to around 29 mpg

i get the impression that vauxhall dealers are shooting themselves in the foot...

make the prices sensible, and encourage the employees to care...they would have a recipie to success...perhaps my view is too simplistic

first proper run in mine today...awful weather but rock steady, smooth performance..

mr mtek, here i come!

fitted a new exhaust from the cats back on my 3.0 omega..so new exhaust from cats back, not including cats...cost £220...is it robbery or a fair price?

plus point...underside of omega is like new...completely spotless

Omega General Help / LPG in general

Does it add to the resale value of the car?

Are there different types/quality of conversion?

What are the best prices? I have seen £1600 quoted....need to cover some miles to pay for itself

I get 245 miles for £56 pounds...I would like to improve that!

I would hate to have to buy a dizzel!
