CCR 2006 differing types ?

Hi guys
             the 3.2 MV6 has an aftermarket head unit fitted but I would like to consider re fitting a standard unit.
 
Car is NOT bose . . .   looking on bay of fleas etc.   I see that CCR2006's are listed for sale but mainly as being from Signums &

Vectras amongst other models.

Simple question is  . . .can these be  straight forwardly (plug & play )  fitted to the Omega  :-\

TIA for any advice on this  :y

should all be the same im guessing,plug and play vauxhall would have wanted to keep manufacturing costs down so they fit a few vauxhalls not just one or two!

The facias will be a different colour as the Signum and Vectra variants are a dark silver.

Not too worried about that  . .  but what about the display screen  . .  is my exisiting one ok ?

I'm thinking it is only the NCDC series that are HU / screen paired  :-\

Thats good then   . . . .  sorry to be a pain but  . . next question :-[ . . .  are there 2 types of CCR2006    one model for

Bose system &  a different one for non Bose ?    If no different and if they are the same & switched by Tech2  how do I  tell which system the unit has been switched to ? :-\ :-\

IIRC it will say Bose on the cassette flap if it's been setup for Bose from the factory.

Unfortunately I'm not at home to check the one I have kicking around.

IIRC, Only the Omega ones had the BOSE option - the others will be plug and play, and will run the Omega display with no issues whatsoever

As said, its just the colours that are different

Displays ARE NOT the same

Head unit is swappable (with code/ divorce/ marriage etc) from car to car BUT Vectra C and Signum display does not have the 'prongs' for the 2 buttons at the top to adjust it and it is slightly bigger so won't fit in the dash so without codes its not plug and play

CCR2006 doesn't need to be divorced or married to the screen, only a code on the Headunit. Screen needs to know the car configuration but as the screen is the original one it wont need programming in this case.

I will be using my existing display . . .  only want to replace the headunit.

As Dave DND says  .  .it's plug & play  . . . provided code comes with the replacement HU  ;) ;)

Display isn`t being changed, only the radio   :y

Only differences in CCR2006 fascias across the Vx range is the colour - physical sizes are the same  :y
