« on: 18 June 2015, 19:08:49 »
water level is fine i parked up last night and removed the cap was still a pain to start and get to tick over properly this morning .there are no signs of a leak at ether manifold so i tried disconecting the MAF and hay presto she starts and runs fine again so i think maybe i have perchased a duff MAF or its for the wrong engine

Omega General Help / poor running when cold
« on: 17 June 2015, 19:10:52 »
hi all i have been having problems for a little while with poor running on my 2.2 petrol. about a week ago i put my code reader on it and it came up with little or no signal from the MAF sensor so i have changed that cleared the code and fired it back up great no engine managment light but was running like a bag of spaners revs jumping all over the shop anywhere between 400 and 1300 rpm and if i put my foot on the gas it stalles however after leaving it running for a couple of min the revs even out and she tickes over ok and reves up ok but when out for a drive seems very underpowered and after a while put the engine managment light back on so once back home i pluged the diagnostic back in and i now get fuel bank one fault anyone got any ideas before it costs me a fortune at the garadge regards mark
