Hideous squealing from front turning corners.

Sussed this one also.....  

Its coming from inside the car...  

Under the covers of the steering wheel....  

I sat stationary and moved the wheel left then right and repeated.

The noise came from within the cabin.  
Something I never noticed before as I was usually driving when it happened.

Would I be correct to assume that some sort of mechanical crap needs oiling within the cabin
with regards to the steering wheel.

I'm now finding this quite horrific, in that gaining information about the product I own is quite impossible, and I
have to go to thiefs and liars such as most garages in order to make the bloody thing legal and functional.

Time the OFT stepped in and does the same as its doing with the banks.

Just my own frustrated opinion......

Is it coming from where the steering wheel is....or further down the column...........
