A rare moment of common sense from the British establishment IMO, and I wouldn't have been at all surprised if the judgement had gone the other way. ::)

Perhaps Emperor Hadrian could see the future......and the rise of the ginger dwarf from the North 2000 years later on . :)

I suspect in spite of all the raging and foot stamping Wee Krankie is quietly relieved tbh. ;)

Yup , she can keep blaming the English for all Scotland's problems , suits her just fine ;)
-
Should have let her get on with it and then see if all fall flat on it's face, not many people I know here like her, don't know where she keeps getting this argument about Scots wanting a referendum, not anyone I know!

She’s a stupid girl, she should be sent to Coventry🤣

The BBC seem quite disappointed with the judgement. :) ::)

As a Scot living in Ireland I used to watch BBC Scotland and STV news daily to keep in touch with what was happening back there .
The narrative bias in favour of the snp ( deliberate ;) ) became so unbearable that I abandoned tuning into either. To their eternal shame the Scottish MSM are puppets to the regime .
The core voter and follower of the cult are predominantly of Irish Catholic origins mixed with the blindly delusional and easily led . Braveheart has a lot to answer for .
The ones that I have engaged in conversation have been woefully unable to deliver any tangible or even remotely believable fiscal or administrative policies that would work in Scotlands favour from minute one .
Sturgeon's xenophobic outbursts display a deeply troubled , even perhaps damaged , persona far removed from the First Minister that Scotland deserves. She is utterly devoid of any gravitas .
I once thought I'd like to retire to a little place I know in the Scottish borders but that dream faded and died soon after 2014 when the downward spiral started .
The irony is that pre 2014 I warned my friends and family back in Scotland that if not wise and careful they could easily end up in the fractured state that Ireland was in at that time . To my friends here I now display Scotlands curse as an example of what occurs when a single party has the reigns of a country and the silent voter remains silent .....
I feel that there will have to be another referendum with the hope that if a super majority is not achieved then that is it , for ever .
If it is ,then let them go but close and lock the door firmly behind them.

Very well put👍

Agreed. :y

No, no, no. You've got it all wrong.
Just keep holding referendums until you get the answer you want.

Maybe eventually it'll sink in that she's not a world leader but a glorified parish councillor. >:D

She’s a female haggis…. Nothing more nothing less.

You're closer to the truth than you may think.
If you can endure it , and be warned it's worse than toothache , tune into Scottish Parliament on Sky 504 some day and witness a dreadful exhibition of crass amateurism in word , action and presentation.
The collection of elected participants are simply embarrassing in their lacklustre performance and visual impact , they really do project an ambiance of a Parish meeting .
I inevitably suffer a deep feeling of shame and resentment that that cabal is what decides Scotlands day to day existence.
And as regards your hope that she will realise her true worth and position I doubt her egotistical ,narcissistic and vain personality would allow it .
She and her cohorts are vile .

So she's still on the Christmas card list then, Olympia5776?
;D

Problem is that Westminster is no better these days. Its been over 35 years since we had a proper Govt. anywhere in the UK.

You are absolutely correct Albs .
In many ways I'm glad that I am of the age I am because the quality of current and future Politicians , in many parts of the world , is frankly appalling .
My very simplistic view now is as long as those pensions keep rolling in they can play that fiddle to the flicker of the flames and choose the tune of their favour .

I wouldn't waste a stamp on her TB.
As a person I find her incredibly irritating , as a politician I find her deeply untrustworthy , a devious micro manager for her own selfish goals and an exceptionally bad liar .
She also has a skin thicker than a whale shark.
The one prophesy I'd make though is that she'll jump ship soon ,her star is on the wane .

Indeed as I said she’s a female haggis :y and that’s her good point.
