Remember the fuss about American 'Chocolate' that couldn't be sold as actual chocolate because the cocoa content was below a certain standard...

Once upon a time that sort of misrepresentation used to see people in court :-X

Bought a 1/2 leg of lamb last week in that little shop, £10.50 for a KG, cut it into cubes(bone is in freezer for a stew)and made a lamb and sweet corn curry that has lasted me a week with some veg curry and home made chapattis.

It's not really misrepresentation. All they serve is vegan, and it is promoted as so. Everyone knows what they're getting.

I'm with Lord Opti on this one.  She has plenty of time to cook you an anniversary meal when she gets back from work ;D

I've been known to knock up a bacon sandwich after 10 pints of '6% ABV Wifebeater' but that is as far as it goes.

Considering a prime cut of Wagyu beef this Crimble instead of the dry tasteless fowl known as turkey.

I'm told it's good.

Factor in the staff discount and it makes for a good healthy meal.

When I say curry dont think of an English take away curry, This is a proper made from scratch using fresh spices and following a genuine Indian recipe. Retired and on my own anyway so can fart to my hearts content!!!

Are you looking forward to your Christmas box from Heinz?

I seem to recall they really pushed the boat out and gave you all a 4 pack of Tomato soup one year. ::)

Correct, well remembered  :y .... and a 50p kiddies selection pack.  ;D

I'd be surprised if we get anything this year with all the gloom & doom being spouted  ::)

Over rated given its cost.

My local butcher has a cold room lined with Himalayan salt blocks. It's stuffed with bits of dead cows dry ageing. Some times over 90 days.
My Crimble alternative would be a dry aged rib joint. A big one, at least two ribs.

The company I work for gave every employee an extra £1500 in their wages this month to help with the cost of living crisis.
Had a similar amount from share options in the summer, and will get about the same again next month due to taking my long service days as money instead of holidays.
I find it all a bit strange after having worked for complete arseholes until I was nearly 50.  :D
