It really does beg the question though under what terms we will re enter having not left?

We don't have to re-enter if we haven't left. Everything that has been agreed since 1973 (with the possible exception of Cameron's 4 concessions) still stand. All that has happened so far is that we've had a referendum which has no binding effect on HMG. Until/unless we invoke Art50 nothing has changed, and we can use our veto just as much as we could 10 days ago.

I said last week that I didn't think we'd invoke Art50 till Oct-2017. I still think that's the most likely date.

Technically you may be right however here are a couple of questions.

1. Has a successor to Lord Hill been appointed?

2. Does the Uk have representation at the table as one of the 28 member states? ( I say not as Cameron abdicated his responsibility.)

I always said that a 49/51 or 48/52 result would create more problems than it solved. The more the EU result remains in limbo by our refusal to invoke article 50, the more hope it gives to people who voted to remain.

I voted to remain....we lost. It happens.

The 'full fat' version of Brexit is unlikely unless we agree to free movement of people from the EU.

Something similar to still being in the EU (which we still are)
