I agree with all the comments that shocks are a service item and these are decades old and past their best.

But I strongly disagree it was a fair failure. Having inspected the old shocks off the car, they travel correctly, with decent resistance, and most importantly, don’t have a “serious fluid leak”.

You can’t get away from the fact that what was written on the failure sheet, is a blatant lie.

As you’ve now got a pass, Migalot - I take it our little headlamp adjusting exercise worked too? :y
