GM Self Levelling Shock Price
« on: 09 November 2015, 18:33:59 »

Anyone bought these recently for a saloon, how much are they on TC?

Considering putting SL back on the 3.2 at the rear, as rear ground clearance has been an issue sometimes on speed bumps.

Currently running standard GM nonSL on 3.2, thinking about putting them on the 2.2. Although I've solved issued with MaxTrac ones, they are clearly a lot firmer.  :(

Been driving the 3.2 over the weekend and today, it's considerably smoother than 2.2 over the rough roads.  :-\

Not 100%. But it must be.  :-\

I replaced ones on it, not longer after I bought it. Due to their rusty state, I had some in garage I slapped on.  No box, no markings, forget where they came from.

Does sit a bit low, even when there is nothing in the boot. Looks good and rides well though  ;D

That be why it's soft as soap then ::)

Self leveling ride height can be tweaked for preference, but running the springs without support will cause longer term issues :-\

Well so far, 4 years it's been all ok, apart from the occasional speed bump scrape if passengers are in the back   ;D

95% certain I kept the SL springs, and put some used shite on that Elite (before you had it).  Also fairly sure said SL springs were sent into orbit a couple of years back.
