Obvious question is, can she cook her self? Certainly she doesn't need to. ::)

She eats in the taxpayer subsidised restaurants in the house quaffing some rather nice fizz, leaving her husband in the other end with the cheap and subsidised plonk. :o :o >:(

I think you'll find people of that generation of women would generally fall into two categories... either she went to a finishing school where she would have been taught how to be a good wife, or she had to help raise her siblings, in which case running a household would have been second nature from an early age :y

She does have a point though.  If you go round 'poorer' areas you will see an abundance of takeaways, Chinese, Fried Chicken/Kebab shops, Indians, Fish and Chip shops and they'll be busy!  :o  ::)

The only hole in her argument is that she can make a bowl of porridge for 4p :-\ The milk alone is 10p worth... ::)

I don't see why she apologised either.  Politicians these days back down at the first hint of trouble.  ::)

There was a that Tory chap the other day (forget who) who said parts of the country were 'swamped' by immigrants, caused a massive 'Hoo Haa' and he apologised.  ::)   Thing is...  he was right!  :o

Trouble is, if everyone tells you that you're wrong, you start to doubt yourself and second guess everything :-\

Welcome to the politically correct, nanny state that we call Great Britain.
Whoever squeals the loudest and gets the most airtime is the winner.
If you dare to disagree, you are either racist, homophobic, sexist or just not welcome in there little world unless you bow down to the new order  >:(

She is spot on imo.
We have a 2 or 3 generations who have never past down any domestic skills because mam and dad / grandma and grandad couldn't be arsed to teach the basics of running a home and general well-being so its a case of fast food and ready meals out of the freezer

I was resisting biting, but as the Borg are always saying, resistance is futile...

Have you never had access to a susidised canteen in your working lifetime?
