A certain young lady dropped her phone today, onto concrete......... ::) ::)

The screen has gone funny, about 50% is simply very slim lines about 2/3 of the way up the screen veering off at 90 degrees to the left, any hope for it?

Anyone got an iPhone 5S for sale?......... :-X ;)

Not really. Sounds like LCD bust, rather than just cracked glass

Worth a google, the LCD and glass digitiser sound like they need replacement. Quite doable. But be prepared for compromise on the quality of parts. Videos and guides on YouTube aplenty.

Cheers Chris, she 'insists' it can't be.............. ;) ;D ;D tbh I think it will be a replacement, she still has a good bit of birthday money left......... ::) ::)

5s is probably the best compromise on size and functionality. 6 is WAY too big IMO, it's more of a phablet (PHone/tABLET) in size.

Might get some cash for the old one too. Either spares or repair or recycling via mizuma type companies.
