I was looking at the pinouts on the back of my radio. I was wondering if anyone knows what the Audio in pins at the top right in the picture are for and if there was a way to use them as a AUX in?

They are just for mono audio in (when mute is triggered) for carphone / handsfree kit.

If your head unit has a 4 disc changer, this can provide an aux input :y

Instead of the 3.5mm input, I wired in a pair of audio leads fed from the amp output of a Bluetooth head unit (fitted to a telematics glovebox). I went that route because it then gave me the full range of inputs from usb, bluetooth and 3 10 disc changers. You have to watch the impedence though as Bose units are a bit fussy. The CDC input is before the amp converter so this isn't quite so import as it could be, 4ohms worked well for me :y

Unfortunately CDR2005 is a single disc HU so no 4 disc or 6 disc autochanger line feed to tap into, in theory you could tap into the feed from the single disc mechanism but it's not as easy and it's likely and may well be an obscure impedance and line level.
That said, there's an option here: http://www.css-haupt.de/vectra/english.html that suggests it's do-able

Almost worth buying a changer unit just to run the aux input :-\

As said, its a mono low-fi input for mobile phones.
TBH, the amp in the CDR2005 is pretty crap, so swapping it out is a viable idea. A non Bose CCR2006 should be a straight swap, and opens up possibilities for feeding in an Aux in place of the CD Changer. Or a complete aftermarket unit with all the features you want built in.
