Hi,
Drop me a pm please when you can, I've tried messaging you but your inbox is full. Thanks

Yes,  It is mine,

3.2 Special, Ex Plod, Thames Valley, Sister Car to Josh"s Black one, Manual, LSD, LPG Converted, Stainless Steel Power Flow Exhaust, Enlarged Trottle Bodies, Gas Flowed Penlium, Remapped, for a lot more HP to suit the Mods, Full Leather Recaro MV6 interior to be fitted in the Garage next to it, probably the most responsive Omega I've ever driven if I'm honest and I've owned a few and driven more.

And the CCTV on the Area works really well.

Being polite, what's your interest?

Yes from Vx

Try calling another dealer as you have probably hit upon one who cant be arsed to look at stock in the other dealers or central stock  :y

Part codes are 24436738 and 24436739

As an example, there are a pair on German ebay for circa €86 delivered

Chassis corrosion is very speculative in my experience, you see some pass areas of corrosion and others fail it.

As for back plates, according to my tame man they are still available but have to come from Germany so a few days wait.

is the back plates from vauxhall? as ive already tried them and they said no longer stocked??

no i bought it with no mot and didnt know it had been for one else where previously. ive since had it mot'd at a garage near me who passed it and before anyone asks no it wasnt a bent ticket either. perhaps it went to a mot testing station such as kwik fit or similar who was trying to find work it didnt need i dont know aint the first time ive had that in the past certain garages failing it on stuff it didnt need in the first place.

That could be true, but if I had just bought it I would give it a close inspection on the areas mentioned above.  ;)

once ive sorted the rear brakes etc out im planning on fitting new front discs + pads on it anyway aswell as 2 new front tyres as they are low so i'l be having a good look at these areas anyway.

Also, if the car was recently aquired from the Kings Lynn area, I would be more concerned about welding up the front of the chassis than messing with the radio...

it is said car from kings lynn, have no idea what youre on about welding up the front end???? it went straight through its mot

oh, only reason i asked is ive seen some forsale advertised for omega vec c and signum on ebay

11
also, will a ncdc2013 from a signum or vectra c with screen fit and work in an omega?

Nope  :)

hmm, they look the same to me in the pics.

my rear wheel bearing has gone on my omega and while stripping it apart i have discovered that the rear plates are knackered and cant really be fixed theres not much to weld to, and annoyingly the fixing kit for handbrake shoes attach to this otherwise i would just leave them off.

hi,

ive got a 2000 omega 3.0 V6 manual MV6 estate facelift.

and my rear brake disc backing plates have turned to dust. vauxhall no longer stock these, anyone tell me where i can get some from? ive already looked on ebay.

also, i'd like to fit a NCDR2013 satnav headunit + screen into the omega, is it a straight plug in and play?
does anyone have a satnav setup for sale?

many thanks

Omega General Help / 2.5td tuning
« on: 18 June 2015, 13:50:28 »
hi,

ive recently saved a w reg omega 2.5 td elite, manual saloon from scrap after the viscous fan snapped of and blew the rad and headgasket.

anyway, ive had all the work done, and removed the viscous fan now, and its all mot'd and running now.

i was told previously on here that you can get a tuning chip to take it back to bmw power + 10%???

is there anything else i can do to give it abit more grunt? remove the cat?

thanks for any help!
