It`s much better than the heavily rusted look they have at the moment STMO  ;)
They should blend in nicely then. ;D

Just how hot do you think the caliper gets? Or you could test one with  an infra-red thermometer which is a fairly handy thing to have anyway.
Hammerite works fine on engines, even around the exhaust ports on OHV engines which get much hotter.

No , just used up what was left in the shed from when i painted the front gates  :D

Possibly, but most on here weren't brought up on calipers. Painted drums anyone?  ;D

Done that too: satin black everytime to hide them.

I've never been tempted to do anything like. Gives the wrong impression when you chop it in/sell it.
