Mrs Opti told me about this because she buys (used to buy) a lot of items from M and S.

I told her to stop taking the piss because even M and S are not that cretinous and woke.

For many years M&S have been desperate to be fashionable / trendy/ down with the kids etc..
This shows just how desperate and out of touch with reality they are. Its very obviously a cynical attempt to ingratiate themselves with the current generation, and I expect that even the thick as pigshit, current generation will see it for what it is.
I think its more likely to cause a boycott by just about everyone you could think of, than it is to raise their street cred.
