Half way through the Olympics and Britain is SIXTH in the medals.

Silver medal in the weightlifting for our girl.

I'm pleased that gold, silver, and bronze will all go to women.......in the women's competition. :)

A fortnight of utter tedium.
Nice to see the UK team (wrongly named Team GB) doing well. Apart from the home team, all the teams above them are the really big nations.
Shameful to see the Russians allowed in through the back door. Makes a mockery of the principles of sport.  >:(

TApparently the official name of  Team GB is Team Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Why not just name it Team UK ffs ?
Probably scared of upsetting Sinn Fein.  ::)

No, no. They're keeping it as GB & NI so it's easier to just lose the NI when it becomes part of the EU permanently. Doubt they'll let you have EU & NI, probably just EU  :-\

Yorkshire pudding ?
you will need milk and egg and a pinch of salt with the flour  ;)
so you need a chicken and a cow and a sea for the salt
Once you milk the cow you could cut it up, cook and eat it

roast cow and Yorkshire Pudding ,surprised that hasn't caught on  :P
