Half way through the Olympics and Britain is SIXTH in the medals.

Makes one proud to be British.

Up to FOURTH now.  :y
Not bad for an insignificant little rock off the coast of Europe.  :D

Mr & Mrs Kenny have more medals between them than the Republic of Ireland has won in its hundred year history.  ;D
I can imagine our ex - European partners are delighted for us , aren't they ?

Won't be long and national Olympic teams in the EU will be abolished and they'll send a common team under the EU flag.  :)

Ever closer union!  :D

I was quite chuffed at scoring a nice bit of discounted rump in Lidl last night for £2.72!  :y

And then you go and drop your hamper into the mix.... :-\       ;D

Rump is good. It's fillet steak I don't like.

It has a taste that reminds me of liver. Plenty of liver as a kid, which I always hated. :-\

Does anyone even eat liver today?

Yep, pigs that is, lamb is too dry. Makes lovely gravy too. Yum. :y

No you wouldnt. You would all have starved to death when the traditional industries closed down.  ;D
No, no, no. We can live on flour and water, and eggs whisked into a batter and cooked in very hot fat. I forget what the actual dish is called.
Staffordshire oat cakes?
French Pancakes ?
Welsh Pancakes ?
American Pancakes ?

I added eggs to your ingredients because otherwise it's just Greek Flatbread.
