Bought a new set of wipers for the Jag, whilst I was forced into the land of the inbreds (Banburyshire) by Mrs TB.  Broke the NSF central locking  :'(

Still, as I did the OSF about 2 months ago, I reckon it'll only take a couple of hours (fairly major door strip down), and hopefully the motor is similar price (£106 - cost + 10%)

Fitted said blades, and topped up screen wash at same time.  Check all other fluids except oil (no dipstick), and need to remember to park it on the flat later, so I can check oil.

Its rather warm out, I was quite pleased when I didn't get out of the way in time when testing the washers ;D

Delivery arrived with a supposed bolt-on replacement for an Escort Mk5 brake servo (replaces servo & single master cylinder with dual AP master cylinders .. having given up on the floor-mounted pedals :'( ) only to find that one thing is not like the other, ffs.

Spot the difference!

Got the 190 running properly. Now need to fix or replace the o/s/r door as an old dear reversed into it yesterday and put a big dent in it.  ::)
If I replace the door, it will be the fourth o/s/r door the car has had in the 4 years I have owned it.   :o

Yeah .. if I'd known I was going to get one that looked like one-eyed-Jim had fitted the studs after a marathon session down the pub on a Friday afternoon, I'd have ordered the "Universal" one and fitted my own mounting hardware ffs.

Took it to the garage....the brakes snatch when breaking at 30/40mph and I get steering wheel shake if I brake at 70mph.

I knew what they were going to say.....so its going in on Sat for new front disks and pads....

Not a had a car in long time that the disks had be changed because of warping but doubt the disks are original as there not much of a lip on them.....
