Having a longer working time, for me, is possibly a good thing as it's the first time I used it!

TigerSeal is the better stuff to use, just depends on the ambient air temp and humidity at time of use...

Sikaflex is good stuff, but most if not all good bodyshops use TigerSeal, so if the likes of Lamborghini, Ferrari and Aston Martin use it - thats good enough for me to recommend, plus it's what held the sideskirts on my old Astra F to the point where they couldn't be removed and it also held a rear Irmscher lip spoiler onto my Vectra at 135ish :)

The practical difference between Sikaflex and Tiger Seal is cost. Other brands are available. They're all polyurethane adhesives, and do the same job. Sticking bits of trim onto cars isn't a critical application, so cost can be the main consideration.

On the back of this advice, I have ordered some black Tiger Seal PU for £8.60 delivered (which I think is a good price!). Thanks for the input and I will post how it goes!

Tiger Seal will do the same job, just takes bloody ages to cure properly.  :y

It seems to cure pretty well in the tube though  :(

Aren't the originals stuck on with double-sided foam body tape?

Well that scuppers my plan of an easy separation using a bit of string so I can sell it then!
