Also congratulations and thanks to the Admins for all their efforts in keeping it going! :y :y :y
My old girl would have met her demise years ago otherwise. ;)

Happy birthday, OOF :y
Could not keep mine on the road without this place. It has been a pleasure to meet so many of you at my HW meetings, and Newent, and Kent and Oxford meetings. Great bunch of guys.
Big thanks to Admins for all the work put into running OOF :y

I've spent many a happy hour (or three) on here over the years. You are a great bunch of lads and I am grateful for the laughs (and tears) during that time.

Happy Birthday OOF. This place is the most valuable resource for keeping my dodgy motors on the road. Very glad it's still here.
Mind you it still has its adolescent years to come, be afraid, very afraid.
-
Gosh ten years. I joined 20th July 2006.
I've had a lot of help and the forum must have helped keep many Omegas on the road.
Had a lot of laughs and there have been some sad moments too.
Thanks to all the admins for moderating and keeping the forum running. :y

Merci bucket. Doesn't feel like a birthday, as been working, plus not found a single pressie yet. Must be my age. Or maybe the fact I couldn't think what I wanted, and its crept up soooo fast since I changed job a couple of months back :o
Happy birthday DTM Jnr, hope your dad bought you something fantastic, and if its a Hornby part, don't let him near it ;D
-
A truly huge thanks to all on OOF ,i would never have attempted many of the jobs i've done without you all.My Omega would have long gone without help from you guys cheers Paul
-
Happy 10th birthday OOF. The help and knowledge gained from here over the years is incalculable. :y :)
-
Can I add my congratulations to the admins whose hard work has made the 10th birthday possible?
This is the best moderated forum I've been on; they're unobtrusive, consistent and usually manage to prevent banter turning into animosity.
Thank you all.
-
A very happy birthday to OOF. The best car owners forum on the net by far. Also a very big thank you to the admins and all involved in keeping this forum online :y :y :y
-
Happy Birthday OOF, and my sincere thanks to all admins and those who have helped me over the years, and who I hope will help me in the future (hint hint). Best wishes to all members. :y :y :y

Slightly late but happy birthday to all! Had a week with no internet connection (and no mobile signal) which has been.... Trying! You forget how much we use it until it isn't there!
-
Good christ ten years? Happy belated birthday OOF and thank you to the staff!
This also means that in September it will be ten years since I first bought the MV6. And that the forum must have been in nappies when I first started posting my inane drivel! :y
-
...and that I can't count. And don't know how old I am - its only nine years...
-
Certainly one of the most useful, helpful and cosmopolitan places on the interweb. 8)
I forget how I stumbled across it, but probably whilst researching prior to sourcing my second ex plod back in 2008... have never actually left since...
The Hotel California comparison is very apt, however clichéed ;D
Keep up the good work, it is greatly appreciated :y
-
Belated Happy Birthday OOF. :y :y
By far the most usefull and often the most entertaining forum I have become a member of. 8)
-
Happy birthday. We have the teenage years yet, gawd help us.

47? Happy birthday you old git ;D

I must also add my thanks to the Admin team and all the others that have helped me in the past. A great site that I refer to on a daily basis. May not post much but really enjoy reading the many comments and also the comprehensive maintenance section which has saved me a great deal. If it wasn't for such a great site I am quite sure there would be fewer Omegas on the road.
Thanks again.
-
I agree wholeheartedly with everything in this thread, and add my thanks to all those that keep it running !!.

Happy Birthday OOF.
Now lets think about the next 10 years:
Will there be any Omegas left?
Will STEMO have been released from jail?
Will Jamie have the same garage?
Will Lord Opti have the same tried and trusted Laptop?
Will the pink one still be pink?
Will Jamie be posting a video of a new 10 year ABBA reunion?
Will Webby the Bear have reached 60 mph yet?
Will anybody be complaining about cambelt failure, after 10 years, it's not run in yet!
Will the OOF hypervisor work?
Will the Surrey speed King look old enough to drive - well will you Tunnie?
Will the pink crocks have been found?
Will drivers, rear view mirrors and pine shape things still exist with advancing technology?
Will Newbie Docker still be a newbie?
Will OOFers still be taking the P?
Will a surplus fuse 19 have found its rightful home?
Will Rods2, after asking this questions still have a 5300 post count?
Feel free to answer all of these, the funnier the better. ::) ::) ::)
-
Ten years, where did that time go!
I recall a certain other site making a statement that it would never last

Ah, 'dangle berries', yes, stickers. Somebody sorted and sent me samples. If whoever it was sees this, please contact me :-[

I wonder if when they could see it was really taking off after 2 weeks if they bribed the hosting company (we both used to use Hosting Unlimited) to pull the plug on us ::)?
Hence the urgent, emergency decision to temporarily run it from here.

HBTY HBTY HBDOOF HBTY
Thanks to TB and all the admins for their endless time and effort to keep this going
Phil :-* :y 8)
did you hear the tune in your head ;D
-
For those who work to make this a better place, thank you. :)
-
Sorry been working away so must have missed this. :-[
This is quite simply the best Forum I have ever used and therefore I'm still here and still driving Omega's.
A big thank you to all who run, manage and maintain this site and to everyone else who adds value to it with every post.
-
Yep thanks to tb and other admins - have to say this a damn good forum.
-
Agree, TB and the other admins are much appreciated, especially the time and commitment they put in for no financial reward to help the UK community, which for us means the Omega community. :y :y :y :y :y :y
-
Happy birthday to oof and oofer's . Well done to admin for keeping it going :y
-
Really, seriously, we are lucky to have such a well-run and indeed well-populated forum. I'm on a few different ones (as is MrsGK, since between us we have half the cars in Teesside), and none of the model-specific ones are quite up to OOF standards.
Daft example, wanted to check the fuel pipe routing on one of the 190s - if I posted the request on here, someone (probably starting with Rob and ending with G...) would have had a photo posted in minutes - still nothing on the (much less populous) 190 forum...
So yes, deffo thanks guys! Here's to another ten years of sarcasm and wittering...

Another question tho would be "has brexit affected the supply and distribution of the cam belt dvd" :-\ ;D

Big thanks to all the admins for starting and keeping the show on the road and to fellow members working hard to keep the oof spirit alive. I will be externally greatful for all help received over the years and like many others would have otherwise no longer been an omega owner :y
