2.6 V6 Number of Valves
« on: 21 February 2008, 19:15:04 »

I assumed that my 2001 2.6 Elite had 24 valves, but when I was speaking to the local Vauxhall dealer today he stated that is was 12 valves. Is he correct?

Really makes you wonder about dealerships ......   no wonder they screw things up with almost monotonous regularity ...  :(

Something you have in the back of your wireless, isn't it? :-/

Mechanics don't do any real mechanics work any more, otherwise they'd have taken so many engines to bits, they'd know them inside out. Today it's a matter of replacing what the computer says is wrong, scratch your @rse when it doesn't cure the problem, then clean the car so the customer is happy.
