I have proof of postage and a receipt for the first wrong item sent for which he still owes me the money. I have sent an email giving him 14 days to to pay or will go to Police, Trading Standards, and Vauxhall forums. At no time has he said he received the returned item or not, I have no correspondence from him whatsoever, I have sent him numerous emails and made many phone calls. Is there any point taking him to court because the cost would be greater than the debt?

Need a lot more info from the OP before we can offer advice or comments that at the moment can only be speculation. ???

Sorry, I sent back the wrong one and then he sent the replacement which I paid for, but has not refunded to me the cost of the returned item plus postage. Thanks for your input all.

Omega General Help / Re: Omega losing power
« on: 12 August 2015, 14:42:35 »
Hi kate, not a mechanic, but are your  symtoms that the car surges and loss of power intermittent if so I have the same with my car and I possibly could save you spending time and money from replacing plugs, leads, filters ect, let me know.
Hi Kate, first had car analyzed, came up airflow meter, fitted new, no change, had a second analyzer nothing showing.  Went to Vauxhall main dealer on analyzer nothing came up, they said new plugs, new leads did that no change wasters. Was recommended to a Vauxhall garage (not main dealer) the only one that took car out connected to an analyzer it came showing one of the EGR valves was week replaced, cleaned idle valve no different. Suspect possible ECU or wiring fault, the saga goes on!!!  >:(  One good thing out of it all new parts that didn't work were replaced with old again. Is there anyone that can help with this problem, now looking to a garage to test ECU, no one local!!

Hi all, have posted re this problem before and the saga goes on. Have a 1999 v6 2.5 auto Elite, the prqoblem was when going uphill the engine was hesitant also sometimes on the flat. No fault lights came on, took for an analysis was showing fault codes for air flow meter, so replaced it, still doing the same thing. So took it to a vauxhall main dealer and was put on an analiyser, no faults found, they suggested to try new plugs and leads at £222-00, yeah right. Any ideas on what the problem could be, all suggestions appreciated, thanks for your time!

Hi all, have a Vauxhall omega elite 1999 v6 automatic V reg. My airflow metre is playing up, when I go up hills it stutters, was plugged into analyser come up as a fault although the engine light did not come on but it had registered the fault, would there be any point in cleaning with a cleaning fluid especially for the job. Also if no go would you go down the route of a used one at about £35 or a new Vauxhall one at about £320,your thoughts please appreciated, thanks for your time!!

How many miles has the car / gearbox done ?
Mileage is 98000, will check gearbox oil over weekend and get back, thanks for your advise, greatly appreciated!

No worries
Just remember to check the level WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING other wise you will get a false level  ;)

Have fun  ;D
Hi can you tell me the procedure of going through the gears as I cannot get a manual on this model, all I have is a hand book and it's not in there, thanks for your time appreciated :y
