vectra c p1482 cooling fan module?

hi all
not been around for a while looking for some help with a vectra c that im working on,
does anybody what code P1482 relates to?
as far as i can work out its cooling fan relay 2 does this mean i have to replace the cooling module?

Had a similar issue with a 100k '58 Z18XEL. Solution, for us at least, was to change the expansion cap.

Think the stuck open cap was causing the coolant to boil over, which meant that the temp sender, and therefore the ECU didn't know that the coolant was boiling off. This meant that it wouldn't/couldn't run the fan. Gave the same fault code.

To add, this particular car has a busted condensor, so no aircon. If the aircon works, it causes the fan to run constantly when it is switched on - same as the Omega, so might have stopped the coolant from boiling off :-\

New caps are peanuts from VX, so try that first :y double check as well that the multi plug to the fan is clean and securely plugged in :y
