Cambelt part no.
« on: 04 September 2011, 06:21:17 »

How can someone tell what cambelt kit they need?
whether their engine no. is from 08300419-08578511 (kit p/n 9201887) or from 08578512 (kit p/n 93172354).

Reason im asking i asked and provided my car details to andyc and his reply was the cambelt kit for my car (p/n 9201887) asked my local motor factors provided this part no. they go thats not the kit for my car??

JUST want to be sure before purchasing!!  :-/ :-/

Assuming its the original engine - the engine number is on your V5 Reg Document and on your Car Pass  :y

Not sure where the engine plate is  :(

AndyC works for Vauxhall and so would imagine when you gave him your details he would have put that into his computer, which then tells him which parts you need.
I am puzzled why you would ask AndyC then go and ask the same question at your Local Motor Factors??
