I'd imagine that once you take the covers off and power it up, it will be obvious where the leak is. 

I have a pretty good idea with covers on. The job is going on my list but wont get tackled till Autumn.

Yes. Things are seasonal here. Now the patios are clean, we get the furniture out and get set to enjoy two or three months of heat. I will let you know how the repair goes but you will have to wait some months…….. Manana.

Got a new 10L bottle of Argon to TIG weld the ali intake pipes and air box, did about 2hrs welding and found the bottle almost empty. Bugger £60 plus gov bit, will give factors grief in the morning as it looks like the regulator seat is damaged and leaking.

It’s both annoying and dangerous.    Everyone knows that when entering a motorway slip road you should do a quick glance to the right to check for the gap in lane one, do a secondary check to judge the vehicle spacing in all lanes, create a mental diagonal line from the slip road to lane three and nail it.

Of the four taxis I have used so far today, three have been snidey, greedy cants.

To be fair, one knew straight away he had screwed up and adjusted without asking.

Tother two, one went longest way possible to get where we going, and tother stopped and restarted the meter when my mate got out at his hotel. Both got put firmly back in their respective boxes.

The cheaper hobby suppliers don't fill cylinders with as much gas as BOC do, which is one of the trade-offs - if you're going to do a lot of welding they're not quite as good value as they look.

Spent a long time trying to remove n/s/f window regulator from the Omega with no joy. No fun in this heat. Given up for the day.

Twin gauge single stage unit, yes bottles never quite as full as a BOC but normally close. This one only had 1000psi in it and should have been about 2800psi.
