Hi, i have just scanned my 2.6 and code P1625 has come up, can anyone tell me what it means? also the fuel trim code on both banks comes up too, it sounds like the drivers side Cat has broken up and part of it is in the middle box would this cause the fuel trim codes? after running the car up the road for about 20 mile the Exhaust emission light comes on too...

Hi all, its probably been talked about before but what are the advantages of swapping different cams? what power gains would there be? and is it a straight swap, the reason i ask is that im getting a 2001 2.6 elite very very cheap but it sounds like it has valve damage on one side, so i thought if it is that and the head has to come off i would do both sides and get abit more power at the same time? also what else can i do to get abit more power?

Hi all, i have just agreed in principle to buy a 2001/Y 2.6 elite very cheap! i haven't seen it apart from some photo's but the engine has quite a severe a top end noise from one side, it still runs but he only started it up to show a mate then shut it straight off again, the cam belt hasn't broke but it looks in bad condition, the car has done 86,000 with alot of history, any ideas what it might be? i'm thinking of cam belt jumped a tooth? if a new head is needed what sort of cost are they to buy?

Hi. ive seen a "W" reg 2.5 auto for sale on fleabay thats near me, the seller says its got a fault with the box, its still drivable but gears have to be changed manually...any idea what the problem could be?

hi, yeah thats what mine looks like, the belt looks the same and the pipework too, have all the cars got the wiring behind the dash? ive pulled out the blank and i can see holes/slots and behind that i can see something blue... would that be the other half of a plug with the wiring in?

hi, it has the pump, condensor, belt, fans, all plumbing it even has the stickers on the slam panel, i'm thinking it has had the button taken out due to another problem but i just wanted to ask just incase

Hi i'm new to this site so sorry if this is in the wrong place, i have recently bought a 98 2.0 16v and it has A/C, everything is in place apart from there isnt anyway of turning it on!! there isnt a button on the dash at all, it may be possible that there has been a problem with it and someone has removed the button, i have popped out the blanks but cant see any wiring behind them! any idea's?
