If you take it back they will probably tell you it's the new anti-speeding option :D.

Have them check that the tyres have seated properly :).

Omega General Help / Re: Not enjoying my 'Starsky & Hutch' miggy!
« on: 18 November 2011, 21:09:26 »
Pete, you need to assume a high level of mechanical ignorance from me, I'm afraid!

Where is the adjuster mechanism, and how would I know if it was actually stuck?

Cheers mate!

As Andy says in his post, click on the link and it will show you where to look :y

  HTH,

Hi Tony,
Have you checked to make sure that the adjuster mechanism is working OK and is not stuck in the full height position?

General Discussion Area / Laugh Or What!!!
« on: 31 October 2011, 20:29:07 »
I had a bit of a laugh here last night at around 21.30, a car alarm started going off in the street which was one of those really annoying ones with all different sounds, well after about a few minutes it was still going off so I looked out my window but there were no flashing lights as you usually get with alarms so couldn't tell which vehicle it was ::).

A few minutes later a top window of a house across the street opened and he shouted at the top of his voice " turn that bl**dy thing off for gods sake" well still no one came out to it and this went on for another ten minutes or so >:(.

The man who had shouted went outside to see which vehicle it was and guess what, it was he's own bl**dy works van which he obviously didn't know had an alarm or hadn't heard it before :D :D :D :D :D I bet he felt a right prat, and rightly so ;D ;D ;D.

Omega General Help / Re: Help, I'm locked out of my car...
« on: 31 October 2011, 20:08:54 »

I thought about that but I don't have another battery and even though it's an Estate, the tailgate lock is also jammed.

If it's an estate you can just crawl through the car can't you? Or borrow a small child from a friend or neighbour!

Well The RAC got here in the end and opened it by wedging the door at the top and using a thick wire to pop the button.

Will still have to get the locks sorted.

Thanks to everyone for your advice and support.

Obviously not deadlocked then luckily as he wouldn't have been able to pull the button up either :(.
