When I changed my column for an adjustable type I put the proper shear bolt back as it was only a few pence from a dealer
HTH,

HTH,
Pete .
Please play nicely. No one wants to listen/read a keyboard warriors rants....
Pete, you need to assume a high level of mechanical ignorance from me, I'm afraid!
Where is the adjuster mechanism, and how would I know if it was actually stuck?
Cheers mate!
Hi,Picture added.
I have a Pre/Facelift uncut Key with Immobiliser Chip for sale, bought from the Forum shop. £8 inc. P&P.
Thanks,
Pete .
does this come with the button fob??
I thought about that but I don't have another battery and even though it's an Estate, the tailgate lock is also jammed.
If it's an estate you can just crawl through the car can't you? Or borrow a small child from a friend or neighbour!
Well The RAC got here in the end and opened it by wedging the door at the top and using a thick wire to pop the button.
Will still have to get the locks sorted.
Thanks to everyone for your advice and support.
I have for sale a new and unused boot liner for a saloon.. SOLD.Asking £28 inc. P&P..
It is similar to the one in the picture except the non slip part in the middle is bigger and is made to fit the Omega boot precisely
Please PM me with any ?s.
Thanks,
Pete .
If it will fit my MFL Elite then I'll have it please Pete.
When turning the actual valve inside the original there was a slight sqeak as it moved
'New' IACV fitted with a little airline oil in it (best I could find other than 10W40 ) & so far so good.
