I seem to remember someone having this problem a while ago & it turned out to be a faulty hazard switch, but then I could be wrong!
Please play nicely. No one wants to listen/read a keyboard warriors rants....
Good point.....QuoteActually they became legal last friday, see this
As i said technically some are still illegal as stated at the end of the article:-
"However, many devices currently on the market will remain illegal as they do not meet the legally required technical specifications and could interfere with radio broadcasts".
Actually they became legal last friday, see thisQuoteSome of he FM units can be very good.....you have to consider that for most files, the MP3 will be the low quailty bit.
Believe it or not but the FM transmiter add on for MP3/ CD changers are in fact illegal and you could in theory be charged under the telephone wireless act as you are technically broadcasting over the FM frequency and therefore classed as a pirate radio station.
Currently on-one has been charged with this exact offence but it is a possibility.
And of course the law is changing next year
I know, that's why I put it in quotes.........QuoteQuote& now you're a "man of leisure" for a whileQuoteI give up with my MID, I think my car just eats them.
Replaced it a few weeks ago with one with two pixels not working. Now those two work & whole other lot don't......

I did notice when fitting it it that if I wiggled the connector at the back it had an effect in the pixels.....QuoteI give up with my MID, I think my car just eats them.

Thats sods law mate, I shall let you know how I get on with the refit fingers crossed my attempt is successful if not its back to the drawing board.
If you're passing down my way Bo Bo, I can give you a hand...Cheers. I may take you up on that....
Failing that, you need the special tool known as a 'Tunnie'
Yeah, I always struggle with those ***** connectors!QuoteJust to clarify; I didn't take the connectors off the back, so was limited for space.Ah, right. Can be done like that, but easier to take looms off...
Bulbs just twist out...Yeah I know, I was a bit cloudy Sat morning!
