central locking
« on: 12 April 2008, 21:05:47 »

hi
had a damaged drivers door (98 2.0) so replaced with one from a scrapper - no key for the replacement door and planned to switch the lock from my old door. unfortunately having fitted the door whilst checking that the windows and mirror adjuster worked I decided to push down the drivers door central locking button.  the result being that I now cannot open the door in order to remove the trim panel and change over the lock  the lock.
pretty stupid but I did not recall that with all doors locked by the drivers door button that you could not just lift the button and release all the doors.
question is how do I disable the central locking or release the drivers door - as I have a spare inner door panel cutting access holes in the trim panel is ok if necesary :'(
