Win 7 is a decent OS, with not a lot wrong with it apart from its now dated and won't support newer technologies coming along.

Win 8 is a very good OS, let down by its split personality, causing a problematic UI for non-touch users.

Win 10 is a fix to that non-touch usability problem, a good tweak of Win 8.1, in the same way Win 7 was a good usability tweak of Vista.

Standard rules apply though, if you rely on a PC, don't upgrade its OS for a few months after an OS is launched.

I tend to use Edge on Win10, but fall back to IE if Edge cant render a page properly.

PMSL  ;D   Thats the one thing I hate about computers, when they decide what to do with your content without asking if it`s what you want, the same goes with media players when they decide to organise your music for you  :(

My crappy little netbook which I use for keeping various instruction manuals, LPG software, "My Naff Code Reader" software has been running shite for a while.
Internet is that slow, you could type out a message, print it and send it second class post to your mate next door before it will send a email  >:(
IE is not even worth trying either  >:(

Its a duel boot unit with Win 7 ultimate on one side and Kali Linux on the other so a clean install will be hard work :-X
Its got to the point that Microsoft Essentials refuses to update or work either.
I've tried rolling it back and other things with no success.

I've checked the spec and Win 10 should work okay but obviously it ain't going to break and speed records  :(
Is updating it to Win 10 while it is a update (not a full install) a good idea ?
Especially with the current option of reverting back to Win 7 within a month ?
