Had a couple of blown bulbs, for quite some time, replaced today with four LED bulbs, what a difference, pretty pleased....

Bought two packs of these today, higher lumen output than others, hence why slightly more expensive...

When I'm driving at night, I dim the dash so I can just see the dials, don't like bright lights, in the car, affects night vision

No need, just hit the night panel button! A feature many mock, but makes perfect sense!

What’s that then?

That.
I once replaced all the bulbs on Capri instrument panel while it was out for another job. Even with the panel dimmer turned right down(I always do this on any car that has one, and never touch it again), they were so bright I had to replace the old ones.
Instrument dials should be matt black with white markings, and lit a very dull green; just like the military figured out about 100 years ago.....
