I reckon that phrase must be in the pensioner's guide 'of avoiding to pay for anything'  ::) ;D

I just fixed two rads that wernt working  :y

Upstairs two were cold.....checked for airlocks...none

Took off thermostat and gently pulled the plunger back and forward.....no difference  :(

Wacked the valve with a hammer........job done  :y rads now working again  :y

Pity jobs arent that easy on the Omega  ;D ;D
