Credit where it's due :y

I honestly didn't expect them to in the current climate... Clearly still someone there with some sense about them.

Just watched that. It was a good insight to the man. Just shows you how well respected he was in the F1 racing industry. Well done sir.  :y :y

I cannot imagine what his funeral and wake would have been like under non Covid rules.

For an hour & a bit it was a pleasure to watch a normal television programme, if anyone deserves the title of Legend he does in my opinion, he'd been there & done it all a very modest gentleman.

An excellent programme, and it confirmed to me that my belief that F1 was much better " in the old days" isnt just my rose tinted glasses.
I felt quite sad and nostalgic watching it, that F1 and indeed the world has changed so much, for the worse, in such a short space of time.

I met him once when I was helping with a BTCC team in the eighties, he was utterly professional but very down to earth and an enthusiast through and through.  I expect he'll get a standing ovation as he ascends through the Pearly Gates.  RIP

After being a Tank commander in WW2 , F1 must have been a breeze

For me F1 in the old days means mid 70,s to early 90,s.  ;)
