Heater Fan
« on: 06 September 2023, 12:39:05 »

Hi, I just put my Omega in for an MOT, which it passed :) They turned off the heater fan for the MOT, when I switched it back on to drive home there was  a big vibration which sounded like I had plane inside! I do not seem to have any play on the fan so something else is vibrating. Any ideas?

Thanks, Nigel.

Sunroof ajar with the windows closed :-\

Some cars buffet really badly inside unless a window or two is open as well.

Air-con working fine so nothing open ;D I can feel the vibration if I put my hand on the fan motor. Glove box already out.

Best pull the fan out then ;D

Fan vibration was not the noise you described, hence the reply.

Found a mushed up card?? I would have a check of the pollen filter,,and ensure it's okay.
