Irmscher wont give you any noise benifits, but will make ya rear look the dogs danglys!! ;)
Get out and splash out on a custom cat back system, i had one made for my old estate by powerflow and had dual left/right 911 ovals, it sounded awesome, highly recomended!! ;)

Omega General Help / Re: tuning
« on: 17 April 2007, 23:47:55 »
Hi there,
I have a Tuning chip installed, a 4 bar fuel regulator, magnecor leads and a Mantzal power resonator (copy), i had the original back in 2001 on my old Elite and my friend took the dimensions of it and had it made in stainless steel but never got around to fitting it so i have bought it all these years later from him and fitted it to my 3.0MV6,
now my problem is that i have on the end of it a cone filter but what you are saying is that i need to connect it to the air box and just have a panel filter? is that correct?
now that i have all these tuning modds on the car, Do i need to get it on the rolling road and have it remapped to adjust to the changes?

OH my god :-?
What muppet designed such a stupid place for us diy'ers to block up with gunk!

Hi, i have the same problem,
i have changed my drivers side cam gaskets as i had a slight weep and smoke coming from the manifold,
but since doing it the rockers seem fine but i have a big pool of oil all over the top of the sump at the front?
i have today(sunday) replaced the rocker gaskets again so am waiting to see what the result is going to be tomorrow.
fingers crossed, if not it sounds like the same problem as you!

Hi
Are the metal covers from a vectra 2.5,2.6 or 3.2 or are they all metal?
I have just (last week) changed my rocker gaskets, BUT forgot to use the jointing compound on the edges :-[, the result is a very bad oil leak!
any idea of cost for the metal covers?

Had that problem on my 2.5TD a couple of years ago, it kept going into limp mode, ended up being the water pump after me shelling out about £380 for  new radiator that i didnt need! >:(
