Title: Omega CD 2.5 V6
Post by: vauxnut1 on 15 January 2008, 18:08:13
Thought I would show you all my mega.
I bought it a few years ago of ebay, The auction had no pictures and very limited on information about it all I knew it had a frontal damage and ran fine .... didnt even know what year it was but I got it for £133 !!
Went to lewisham to pick it up and found it was a "99" on an s plate (couldnt believe my luck) the damage wasnt even that bad.
Got it back to workshop and fixed within a week and it has been the best car I have ever had !!
I have added a few mods such as bodykit from poland, spoiler, grille, black headlights, 17 inch alloys and piper cross induction... due for respray in arden blue this summer. Hope you like  :y

looks wicked!
i had a silver car looked a bit like yours when you got it (after meeting with a micra at 35mph!) - but it got took away. :(
cant believe the transformation you've made! would love to see more views and even a spec too! loads of different but stylish mods you got there mate :)

is it lowered, or is that the effect of bigger wheels? :y :y

The respray is due to me being bored with colour and a few scratches/rust bubbles I need to sort  :y

I like that alot! Similar colour to my Magic Grey omega, How did you find the bodykit for fitting? did you have to modify it? heard all sorts of nasty rumours bout some of the european bodykits.

cheers  ;)

Glad you like it .... front bumper and side skirts were really easy but the rear was a bit of a pain, I had to cut and shut it a bit to get it to fit but other than that about as easy as any other bodykit I have fitted.  :y

Tempted to get a kit for one of my black omega's. the irsmscher and steinmetz kits are pretty boring, and the rear spoilers altho subtle wont look right with a kit like yours, will have to think carefully. Btw you should either colour code your door strips or upgrade to the facelift strips when you respray your car, will really finish off the look,

Good luck with your future plans  :)
