Post by 78bex reminded me how useful these are, also how good they are at recording appalling driving!

Any recommendations? How big are they? Don't want something too big on the dash  :-\

I have the "roadhawk" .. very discreet, works very well, records audio and Google map position as well, along with G forces. Not cheap but IMHO you get what you pay for :)

BTW .. mines the older RH-1 version :)

Looks like the 720 is good value, might consider that. Tuck it behind the internal mirror and run the loom up there. Like fact its all automatic so don't have to turn it on or off  :)

I have the RH-1 ..older version .. and I've wired it up to the rear view mirror cluster .. just had to find an ignition "live" and it was simple .. :)

Remind me the value in this?

Sounds a bit like the knobhead cyclist at work who has one on his head, and goes out of his way to upset other road users so he can show us crap videos??

Saves the need for a witness. Assuming the incident is visible. No?

Except the 2 big problems - could it be legal (privacy protection etc) or admissible, and would any defence easily claim entrapment.
