That's far too cheap for a quality spring IMO.  Your car though ;) ;)

I'd be looking for a known brand... KYB, Boge etc. The really cheap ones probably won't last long and are possibly not variable rate

Rang them up, ordered some pair of Sachs for £38 each. Not used them before, any good?

They supplied me the wrong springs, even though they assured me they were correct. I ended up going to Leicester to finally sort it out. The springs they supplied were Boge. Seemed good springs just not what I required as anyone who saw my car at the Lakes will confirm. Turns out I needed Heavy Duty springs, which have sorted my problem.

Bloody glad of this post, thanks for the heads up  :y

I rang up just to confirm my order. They were under the assumption I ordered 2 shock absorbers  :o

Errr no springs please!!!

They caught the order in time, I will be getting springs tomorrow and not a pair of shocks.

Not sure i'll be using them again!  :-?

So has mine, which made it interesting yesterday towing an Omega elite (with an A frame) from Wembley to my house. This also highlighted that the steering idler is probably shot.
Was one of the more interesting drives of recent times. :-X ::)

Possibly MV6 springs.Might then need them on the front as well ?
Could also mean it would sit even lower at the back when towing. Not sure tbh. :-/
