After you've done all that, will you be doing the arches too??

Knew someone would pick up that i forgot to say that  ;D

Arches will be one of the first jobs done, luckily theres still a bit of solid metal under the rust, so as a temporary measure itll be getting rubbed down, kurust and zinc primer before a quick spray of paint - will get the bodywork all top notch at a later date, my uncles a spraypainter so covered on that ground  :y

Macduff - im not really a fan of the wheels either, never have been, they were on it when i got it... no cash to buy different ones so theyll have to do lol

PHEW! TBH I thought you might have been one of these guys that will mod up their motor like mad, but never somuch as give it an oil change! Especially with them alloys!  :D No probs feller, nice to see you're doing it in the right order! And may I say the tweaks you've done to it up to now are pretty classy, like the smoked indicators, as they practically disappear into the bodywork. Very nice.

Black is the colour!

finally got the other front strut on today after the correct nuts arriving, and also fitted the front spacers (as the 235 tyres are fouling the coilover), they look sweet!... brings the tyres out to the edge of the arch and makes the stance look alot better, i can finally get the strut adjusted so that the wheel isnt hanging out at the top now too  ;D

droplinks are about to be cut down and adjusted (couldnt be arsed paying £90 or so for the lowered ones when i can adjust mine for free!), paint is also here to finish the door strips and arches too

Shortened my droplinks and fitted the spacers on the front today - heres the results:

After...

Its not too noticeable in the pics tbh, but gives the car a nicer stance and makes it look better (although the original reason for getting them is becuase the tyres are fouling the strut  )

Spent the past few days doing work on the car... got cambelt changed, cam cover gaskets changed, changed spark plugs and oil, then today i fitted the facelift bumpstrips and gave the rear arches a bit of paint.. all ive got left to do now is give it a quick wash for MOT on tuesday and cross my fingers  :y

Quick pic of the bumpstrips just fitted (hadnt sprayed the arch yet)
