We also considered the same, but in the end did so. The programme didn't really dwell on the past, but focused on what the families were doing now.

Didn't watch it, but by coincidence, looks like I recorded it (purely by coincidence - I randomly recorded a load of stuff last night to test a problem with the media center).

Not sure I'd watch it, my mum might want to, as she lives about a mile from Soham.

It was worth watching. It was presented in a positive way & didn't linger on the hurt of the families involved.

I'm glad the deviant is still alive. He's been attacked a few times now & i hope he spends many years in fear of & suffering more & more. I for one am more than happy to pay income tax to keep his life of hell & fear going.

Wishing him dead is understood but misguided. He wants to die, he's tried suicide. All the time he's alive, in fear mentally & being attacked physically suits me fine. Why should he die & get an easy cop out?

Keep him alive in pain, terror & torture. It's worth every penny in my book.

Trouble is, the extra protection for nonces is unbelievably expensive, and those funds would be better spent elsewhere.

Cheaper to let him rot...

Jaime & Steve..this is what he wants. Yeah i'd like to 12 bore the scum...both barrels in the face but he want's that, it's an easy way out for him. The expense of keeping him sectioned has'nt saved him from knife, boiling water attacks, etc.

He has many years of terror & suffering ahead of him yet. I'm happy to pay for that. Death is a cop out that he wants & does'nt deseve. Guy.

I'm not. Why should society have to pay to keep him alive and protected. For info, you are probably looking at £200k+ per annum.

This country desperately cannot afford that.
