Hoping one of the moderators will bump this post  :y

Much appreciated.

Getting there with the Black Beastie, but the rear drivers side door moulding has managed to catch on the front and bent backwards. Looked over and wondered why one of the kiddies was swinging it to try and open !  :-\
 :'(
So am after a new rubber moulding.

Seen a used on ebay but hoped to be able to get one from the forum.

Many thanks

Prefacelift one?  Don't think they can be reused, as its not possible to remove without (permenently) bending them

TheDaddy has a set, in the right colour as well.

I think, live me, he thinks the facelift mouldings look crap on a prefacelift car with standard prefacelift bumpers...

If it's a pre-face saloon then I have one here - they're attached with trim tape which is easily removed with a cheese-wire.

I previously removed this exact one for another OOF member who then vanished.  It needs new trim tape obviously but it is completely straight.

Alternatively, you can get a new one here fairly cheap...

http://www.carpartsconnexion.com/vauxhall/searchresults.asp?pn=90477356&rf=1&n=10&p=1&f=Vauxhall&m=Any+model&y=Any+year

They are cheap. Like the look. May have to order one. Have you used this outlet before?

Did have the facelift door mouldings on the old doors, before swap out - and even though I like the look of them, prefer the look of the rubber to match the front and rear + wings. Need to sort it as unable to open the door at the moment, so need to get it off.

Going to be fun using the wallpaper scraper..... :-[

You actually deal direct with the dealership that has the parts, carpartsconnexion is just a listing tool.  I've bought stuff from several dealers this way and never had any trouble, they're usually very cheap on postage too and you still get full GM warranty.

Ordered a new moulding.
Not looking forward to the change over - but will give it a go at the weekend.

Many thanks for the pointer to parts connection.
