Today i tried to find the way back to normal conditions.

Early last week i changed the camshaft sensor, but the motor control lamp was still on. So i checked the cables around the sensor today. Cable at pin 3 near the connector was broken.
Now my old lady runs like new. Motor control lamp is off.

Today i drove to some of our favorite places, of course with the saloon, her favorite car. But her seat was empty.

Strange to sit alone by the little church on the mountain top, looking over the Rhine valley. Can not realize that we will never be there together again.

Temperature drops down to maximum 30,2°C  . Some Thunderstorms, but the next heatwave is coming up

My Omega runs with 12,5 l/100 km using it in stop and go city traffic.

On long ride conditions with constant speed around 130 km/h the old lady takes 7 l/100 km/h. Enough to cross Germany south to the North Sea with one tank.

the picture was taken in my garage yard round the corner of my house. It is an extremely hot place on summer afternoons. The display dropped down to 35°C after a few miles driving. That was exactly the temperature official measured at Lahr airport at the same time.

Most forecasts have a problem with thunderstorms in my area. If thunderstorms are progged, there will be thunderstorms. You can see them. They are over the Voges in the west and over the Blackforest in the east.

Lahr is right in between and will stay dry....
