Fuel return pipe chafing
« on: 24 December 2006, 11:27:32 »

Just thought I'd mention that had some issues with coolant leaks just recently and in the process found that the clip on the Large outlet pipe coming from the Coolant Tank has been chafing the Fuel return pipe quite badly (as it runs under the pipe) but think I caught it in time by just moving the clip round. So might be worth checking your own car.
Cheers Pete

Clean up the pipe and pop some turns of self amalgamating tape round it....
