Reverse Light Switch
« on: 30 July 2010, 18:44:08 »

Will it be easy to remove and refit a reverse lamp switch to my 5spd manual g/box as i am not sure where on the box to find itor it's ease of access. Just to confirm that this is the fault, the car sporadically shows/doesn't show reversing lights when reverse gear is selected?????

Why oh why was there never a V8 Omega????
Such a missed oppurtunity.
Look forward to the Cadillac ATS & ATS-V. Maybe a re-badged one will replace the Miggy as a RWD runner?

Very rarely fail but the switch is on the prop end of the gearbox near the output shaft on the passenger side. You could "short" out the wires to confirm whether it`s the switch.
22mm offset ring spanner to remove or you may be able to undo it with small grips
