Washed it, dried it and started to put the ceramic coat top up on it but then it started to rain so had to abandon that job.  ::)
Went indoors and started googling BMW 530d M Sport Tourers around 2022/23 plate. I’m very happy with my current vehicle but want to change it before I die they stop building decent engined vehicles.  :)
Aren't we expecting Saharan sand this weekend?

I did manage to complete the ceramic top up in the end so the sand will just slide off it.   ;)  :y  It’s super shiny now so I’m using hers so mine doesn’t get dirty.   ::)  I know, I’m sad and need to get out more.  ;D

Thames Water have pissed us off again. No water across the whole town for the second time in as many months.  >:(

That can't be right...

Didn't the CEO get a huge bonus for great work.....or even an OBE. ::) ::) ::) ;)

Thames Water have had a bad couple of weeks here. They’ve managed to single-handedly close three out of the four roads in to the town with burst water mains. The one remaining road open has a 7.5T weight limit on it so the truckers are less than impressed with the massive detour they have to do.  :)

I first used this expression back in October.

Little did I know then how our lives would unravel since………..

I know only too well that life can give us a right good kicking at times, and I’ll admit that it nearly broke me.  ::)
Six years of early hours (2am, 3am) calls several nights a week from Careline saying that one of my parents had pressed their buzzer alarm and could I check on them as they were basically getting fed up of sending first responders out, so could I check that help was really needed as I lived just three miles away. I went to visit them before work, after work and weekends. Both were bed bound and eventually got dementia so if they had a toilet related accident between carers visits, I had to wash them, dress them and strip and change the bedding. It’s not something a son should be doing but I did it for them. In 2022 I walked out into their garden and looked up at the sky. I silently begged for help as it was near to killing me, and my prayers were answered with …….. me having two failing heart valves, two lots of major heart surgery and bacteria in my blood.  ::)  ;D  After spending three months in hospital I was eventually discharged, and my parents then died a few months apart.
So yeh, life can be cruel to us and I’m sure that it hasn’t finished kicking me yet. Have I learnt anything from it, do what you want to do while you can, because one day you won’t be able to.

I think I've found TB's new car!  :y   It might need a bit of a polish though.  ::)  :)

Ah, that takes me back, Rover 820 Fastback.  :y  The sales figures of this vehicle, and other 800’s, were badly hampered by the popularity of …….. the Vauxhall Omega.  :)  :y

My experience of internet purchases is boring compared to some. I order something and it arrives. I know that sounds crazy but that’s just how it is.  ::)   :)

Ta, I suspect its the chinky shite, as factory for mine was just a normal puddle light.

I was curious so I popped one of mine out. It has an Audi part number on.  :y

I have the equally chavtastic four hoops projected down and the illuminated door sill tread plates.  :y
How long have you had yours?  Just wondering, as I have to replace mine every couple of years :y

Mine left the factory with the illuminated sills and I'd always assumed the logo puddle lights were standard, like they are on the later bmw's. Not changed mine in the four years I've owned it.  :-\

Kinda ironic when you look across the fields surrounding your town....

My thoughts exactly.   ;D  :y

Acquired 2 freebie logo puddle lights, so fitted them. ………

So you have pretty little Jaguar logo lights illuminating the kerb when you exit the car now then.  :y
Well, I've had similar for about 4 or 5 years, but they only tend to last a couple of years before either the cree fails, or the logo lens/mask loses its definition.

Chavtastic!
