Not keen on the tail pipe but sounds very good and its a stainless steel cat back system so a tough choice ::)

Strange how the Vauxhall badge is on the drivers side and Omega 3.2 V6 on passenger side. Looks ok like that though...

You'd think so going by the pictures but that's just from a wash with a bucket of water & some car shampoo :y

Just received this clay kit today did the boot lid in the evening just after it stopped raining for a short while was rough now soft and smooth, there was like orange/brown crap on the clay bar just from the boot lid :o.

Thanks Bud, Aye yeah its a decent car for the money,
I never attempted to make my 2.2 GLS to an Elite spec just saw the list of things it didn't have and gave up after fitting 17" alloys and boot spoiler ;D

I used the same clay kit on mine, took hours, but came up lovely, same colour as mine aswell.

My 3.0 always steamed like that even when it was a hot day , never lost any water though ...nowt to worry about . Its an inbuilt warning system so makes you check the water bottle ;D :y

Haven't had a chance to polish and wax as of yet but have Clayed.
Have used Gliptone on the leather The cleaner and conditioner smells lovely..
Headlight restoration kit 3M have brought them up nicely.
New genuine dealer VX grill had one spare got it on eBay cheap last year...
Given (BigBlue32) a mini service - GM oil and oil filter, new air filter and a few new parts Steering idler, front discs and pads...
She's Coming along nicely, Still lots to do but it's enjoyable...

Quick update..
Have fixed the ashtray and replaced the bulbs all works again :y
Fitted a Bosch S5 battery and fitted a Omega battery cover.
Haven't been able to do much else due to the rain :-\

Not sure about the badges, They where like that when Elite Pete had it so been like that for awhile, Don't mind them like that but odd nevertheless :-\

In other words motorbike heaven as some call it. Been for a 170 mile run in the 3.2 to here (used 5.4gal in total did reset computer before heading off), Not the best of weather but no rain. Didn't miss a beat ran smoothly all the way well pleased :) .. Some piccs below........

Wouldn't say its much worse than the 2.2 when cruising, put your foot down Well what do you expect. its awful ;D

Yep ,, curtains are drawn so must be sleeping . Must be great living like that and have no bills to pay :-\ Mind you it must cost a bit in fuel to keep that running , providing it still has the engine left in it :D ;D

Yeah I was surprised looking back at the pictures, Thinks its a trick of the camera but the mini is taller, I wash it once a week or so with liquid wax and every 2 months use proper wax after some polish etc. ;)

I use to use that super resin wax , autoglym or something ? Now all the car is back together and running sweet i can concentrate on the body , probably start off with clay bar :y

Very little in it... The 3.2 is more of a effortless glide when coming out of junctions, The 2.2 howls more nothing wrong with that mind.. But cruising on a duel carriageway or motorway there isn't much difference at all both fairly quiet. It's just handy to have the extra power sometimes which could get you out of a sticky situation which the 3.2 has done many times already :y..

Quick Update:
Time to touch up some of the stone chips etc... Got a very good matching touch up paint from Paints4u much much better than the VX / GM touch up paint's...
The pictures below are how it looked unfortunately I forgot to take close up pictures so had to crop these out of other pictures... As you can see the patch is a darker blue that's the GM/VX stuff completely useless match, and yes correct paint code and everything ::)..

Finished the job just need to take some pic's, the Panints4u paint is a good match hardly noticeable, Bumper isn't bad enough to justify taking off and doing the whole thing.

By the way the headlights are still as clear as they day i used that 3M headlight kit on them.. She has over 190k on the clock now and still going strong (touch wood) ::) ;D..
TAX is due end of this month though, Still i'd rather pay £154 for 6 months rather than half that on a eco box with no soul :y

Yep LLyn Celyn 2 of those snap shots, Same here Tunnie, Just that for me the 3.2 is very similar on cost to run overall, TAX the same, MPG for me i don't see the difference, Plus more comfort and toys coming from a GLS to an Elite and not forgetting the extra performance is there when needed, Granted the 2.2 is easier to work on but you adapt.
