I wouldn't do it from a performance point of view, and from reliability you might be better 30ne.(or ideally a c30ne 'goldtop' with c26ne dual ram system)
Try posting on www.totalcarlton.com theres a few guys on there who will be able to advise

Probably overfuelling causing a bit of borewash.
Coolant temp sensor would be my first option

Don't think you can get the seat heaters to work if you put MFL seats into a FL, FL has variable heat settings, MFL has two settings ON or OFF!

I'm working on it..........will post details when sorted

Cheers Jez
Managed to get the wiring diagram I needed but the manual would still be useful

Maybe I am not looking in the right places but I cant find a haynes Manual which covers facelift Cars......does such a thing exist?
Failing that has anyone got any wiring diagrams for facelift, particularly the seat heating circuitry?
(I have TIS but thats useless for wiring diagrams)

Cheers
Don't suppose you can be more specific on the tweaks required for the drivers side?
Struggling to get a wiring diagram for the facelift. Probably just have to buzz it through.
As for the heaters.....I enjoy a challenge and I am an electronics engineer by trade so I dont think this should be too difficult ;)

Right, I trial fitted the passenger seat, and can confirm that theres no additional wiring required for the seat movers, just plug and play :) (The spare plug is for the memory I think)

My plan for the seat heaters is to operate from a relay switched from the on/off bulb on the rotary controller, ok so they will not be variable just on or off but should work ok, just need to sort a wiring diagram out as haynes does not cover facelift.

As for the insurance implications on the active head restraints......I hear what your saying.

One more thing, on the MiniFL are there only 2 rear headrests?

TBH main reason I got them is for the leather not the heaters. Like I said I can live without the heaters but if they are there it would be nice.
How about the electric movers?
Are they just plug and play (there is a large unused yellow plug on the present loom) or do I have to splice them in (as I expect)?
